Sarah Lawrence College encourages all students, faculty, and staff to sign up for its Emergency Notification System, which is used in the event of weather-related college closings and other time sensitive emergencies on or near campus.

Signing up for the Emergency Notification System takes less than five minutes and requires an official Sarah Lawrence e-mail address. Use your Sarah Lawrence ID number (without the leading zeros) as your temporary password when signing up. Once you have signed up for the system, you will not need to do it again unless any of your contact information has changed.

Once registered, choose how you would like to be notified in the event of an emergency (e-mail, text, and/or phone). Please note that the phone number you enter should not be your campus telephone. Using your dorm or office number will clog the campus phone system, since this is a mass notification system. You may enter any other telephone number, including your cell phone or home phone. The Emergency Notification System is only utilized in emergency situations.
